April Clean up Day Held

We had a spring clean up on April 10th and managed to clear out a room downstairs for the Food Pantry to use for storage.  Unfortunately one of the pianos in the room fell apart when we tried to move it so we had to throw it out.  We also removed the copier from the premises, moved some furniture upstairs and arranged to have some larger items hauled away.  Beth and Brandon also cleaned the sidewalks and gutters. Thanks to everyone that showed up to assist.

 Dance Doubles in Attendance

Our second under 21 dance and concert was attended by more than twice the number of young people than were here in March.  Entertainment was provided by Project SAR featuring Nevershoutmaggie.  We will be having another one in the near future so watch here for the dates.

Flea Market Continued Success

Our flea market was a success again in April and helped us break our fundraising records for this event.  Thanks to everyone who supports this event, both vendors and shoppers.  Our next one is May 15th and will be an indoor/outdoor event.  Check out our event page for more information.

Membership Program Forthcoming

We are beginning to put together a membership program with benefits at various levels for those who want to support and enjoy the Heritage Center to its fullest extent.  Please check back here in the next month or so for more information.

New Events Added

Just added to the schedule, our new non-alcoholic fundraiser Good Times (tentative name) social event will begin on June 11th with a Karaoke night provided by L&B.  You've seen them at the Palace and now they will be here from 7 to 10:30PM.  Please come out and support us.  Your $2.00 cover charge will benefit the Heritage Center and bring a canned good if you like for the Food Pantry.  Soft drinks, light refreshments and our non alcoholic mixed drinks will be featured.
